Files and variations

A file set,
not one picture.

Your logo may need to work on a website, a business card, a sign and a shirt. A vector master and a one-color version give vendors files they can reproduce clearly.

01

Vector master

Scales without losing sharp edges. The foundation for every other format.

02

Print formats

PDF artwork for production use, matched to the output your vendors need.

03

Web formats

SVG and PNG for screens, sized and optimized for your site and digital materials.

04

One-color version

Works with a single ink color, so the mark holds on invoices, shirts and signs alike.

05

Embroidery-ready version

Simplified artwork for vendor digitizing. The vendor still sets up the stitch file for their equipment.

06

Usage notes

Explain colors, spacing and file choices, so the mark stays consistent after delivery.

Exact formats are confirmed against your intended uses and any vendor requirements before final files are prepared.

A steady process

From first look to
finished files.

Fees are agreed in writing before work begins. The scope, concept rounds and delivery formats are all confirmed before the first mark is drawn.

  1. 01 / LEARN

    Understand the business

Your customers, your offer, what competitors do and where the mark will need to work.

  2. 02 / EXPLORE

    See directions

You review concept directions and refine them with your feedback until the mark represents the business.

  3. 03 / TEST

Check it small and in one color

Before final delivery the design is checked at small sizes and in one color, where weak logos fail.

  4. 04 / PREPARE

    Prepare the files

After approval you receive the agreed formats and usage notes for your website and physical materials.

Scope and usage

What is included,
and what is separate.

See pricing for how projects are priced and what is billed separately.

A

Refresh or new mark

A logo refresh keeps what customers recognize while improving lettering, spacing or reproduction. Share your current files and where the logo causes problems, and we discuss a small adjustment, a rebuilt vector master or a new direction.

B

Embroidery and production

An embroidery-ready version supplies suitable artwork. The vendor still digitizes the design for the garment, thread and equipment and approves the sample, and that stitch setup is separate unless it is explicitly agreed.

C

Our own example

The Get Big Marketing logo in the header and footer is our own brand identity.

D

Using it afterwards

Usage notes explain colors, spacing and file choices. Print and promo covers carrying the mark into physical pieces.

Common questions

Before
we start.

Can you redesign my existing logo?

Yes. A logo refresh can keep the parts your customers recognize while improving lettering, spacing or reproduction, rather than a full ground-up redesign. First, share your current files and explain where the logo causes problems. Then we can discuss whether you need a small adjustment, a rebuilt vector master or a new direction.

What file formats will I receive?

A vector master, print-ready PDF artwork, web-ready SVG and PNG files, color and black-and-white versions, a one-color version, an embroidery-ready version for your vendor, and usage notes to keep everything consistent.

Why does print matter for logo design?

Because your logo will appear on paper too: business cards, letterhead, printed materials. A logo designed only for screens often fails when printed. Our print production background means your logo is designed with those uses in mind.

Is a PNG enough for my business logo?

A PNG works for many screen uses, but it should not be your only logo file. Enlarging it can reveal rough edges. Keep a vector master alongside your web exports. That gives production vendors artwork they can scale for a business card, sign or display.

Will my logo file run on an embroidery machine?

Embroidery artwork and a machine stitch file serve different purposes. Your vendor needs to digitize the design for the garment, thread and equipment, so confirm those requirements before ordering shirts. An embroidery-ready version supplies suitable artwork; it does not replace the vendor's stitch setup or sample approval.
