Website care · Indianapolis area
Keep the website useful
as the business changes.
Updates, checks and the small fixes that keep a site accurate and functioning — agreed in writing, no vague retainers.

What care can cover
Agreed work,
not an open-ended promise.
Your website needs upkeep the way a storefront needs someone to fix what breaks. Dates pass, offers change, a link points nowhere, a form stops sending. Small problems are cheaper to deal with when they are noticed early.
Content edits
Text, images and small page changes made by the person who built the site, without a developer queue.
Fixes
Broken links, layout problems and form failures diagnosed and repaired. Bigger repairs are scoped and quoted before work starts.
Checks after a change
Links, forms and the phone layout reviewed after each update, so one edit does not quietly break another page.
Platform updates, where supported
Updates to the software the site runs on, for platforms we have confirmed we support for that site.
A record of changes
A short note of what changed, so the next person to touch the site — you included — can see what was done.
Your agreement sets the work included and any limits on updates. Any response-time, uptime or backup commitments must be agreed in writing.
How a change goes through
Request, make,
check and record.
Care works because the person making changes already knows how the site was built. No handoff, no restart from scratch.
- 01 / THE CHANGE
One change arrives
A date, a name, an offer or a page needs to change. The request comes in through the route agreed for your site.
- 02 / THE WORK
It is made
The update goes in. The person who built the site makes the change, so there is no handoff or restart.
- 03 / THE CHECK
Then checked
Links, forms and the phone layout are reviewed after the change before it counts as done.
- 04 / THE RECORD
Then recorded
What changed is written down, so the next change starts from what is actually on the site.

Access, platform and responsibilities
Who can change what
is written down.
Care depends on how your site is built and who holds the keys. Those answers are settled before any work is agreed.
Platform support
We review how your site is built and tell you whether we can support it. A site is not assumed to be on any particular platform, and a site built elsewhere can be reviewed before you commit.
Access and accounts
Who holds the hosting, domain and platform accounts is written down, so access is never a mystery when something needs a change.
What you provide
The facts for each change, such as dates, names and images, and a timely approval when a change affects what visitors see.
Scope and continuing cost
Care is continuing work, separate from the build. Its fee follows the agreed scope, and hosting and other platform fees are separate. See pricing for how work is priced.
Is care right for your site
Sometimes the answer
is no.
- Your site brings in leads or takes orders, and out-of-date details cost you.
- Dates, names, offers or pages change often enough that waiting on someone is a nuisance.
- You would rather leave the technical upkeep to someone who knows your site.
- You want one person who already knows how the site was made.
- If you would rather manage the site yourself, the handoff includes a walkthrough of the updates you can make. Start with a free review and get a straight answer on what your site needs.
Common questions
Before
we start.
How much does website maintenance cost in Indianapolis?
Care is continuing work, priced by the scope you agree rather than a single published monthly figure. You see the scope and the fee in writing before you approve anything, not after a surprise invoice. Hosting and other platform fees are separate. See the pricing page for how projects are priced.
What's included in a monthly care plan?
What care covers is agreed for each site: typically content edits and fixes, checks after a change, and updates to the platform the site runs on where that platform is supported. The exact work and the amount of time are written into your agreement. Bigger fixes are scoped and quoted separately.
Do I need a care plan if my site is brand new?
Not always. After launch you receive a walkthrough of how to make agreed updates yourself, and some owners manage their own site. A care plan makes sense when you would rather hand changes, checks and fixes to the person who built the site. Any arrangement for a new site is discussed as part of the scope.
What happens if my site goes down?
Tell us as soon as you notice, and the person who built the site starts from its history rather than from scratch. Outages are sometimes at the hosting provider, which is a separate supplier. Any response-time commitment must be agreed in writing.
